Get it inspected and you will receive an inspection report to keep in your glove box. You will not get an inspection sticker for your windshield. When you renew your registration (License tag) in October the database will show you're current on your inspection and a single sticker will be given to you for your windshield. In 2016, anytime from 3 months prior to your expiration you need to get the inspection completed or you will not have a new registration sticker issued to you in October

See the picture I posted, your case fits it almost exactly as their example. That's from the official 2 steps 1 sticker website. No inspection for you until 2016.

What huh??? His example is the exact opposite as the one you posted. I have a similar situation. My inspection is due way before my registration. So do we go ahead and get a new inspection when due and then do we get to wait until our registration is due NEXT YEAR to reinspect?

Yes, you wouldn't need an inspection until you renew your registration in October 2016.
This will be your case every year after that also. Inspection before renewing in October.

Looks like we got lucky. I put in the dates for the car and it says we don't need an inspection until renewing registration in Feb 2016!

Noticed this moring, my inspection sticker went out saturday.
I registered the truck back in January.
Now that they dont have inspection stickers, do I wait until time to register the truck again to have it inspected?

They will ask for your printed copy of your inspection if you do not have the sticker on your windshield. Sorry, no free rides.
