    Best Chain Steak place..........................

We only have Salt Grass. The last time we were there (last month), it was poor. Service was awful, food was worse. I am going to take it as an isolated incident. We left of course. Mgt. didn't offer to do anything. I would try it again as I don't have much choice here in Midland. So here goes....................

Longhorn, We had it in Lubbock. I wish we would get one here.
Salt Grass. One bad incident, before was always good at all locations.

    Ok now yours?

I don't go out for steak, I can cook a better steak than most of the chains right here at home.

^^^ Agree with this! My steaks at home are my favorite.

For chains, Perry's steakhouse. No doubt.

Is Bob's Steak and Chop a chain?

Saltgrass is OK for a moderately priced steak.

If I want a steak we grill our own! Every year we butcher 2-3 and they are by far some of the best steaks I have ever had!

Occasionally we go out with friends/family and get a chain steak! Saltgrass has never failed for me but Texas Roadhouse is by far my favorite.

              1. Our own Beef!!!!
              2. Texas Roadhouse
              3. Saltgrass

Brenner's on the Bayou... I think Brenner's has like 3 locations so I'm not sure I'd call them a chain?

I travel for work so I eat out almost every day, wherever I'm at I try to go local but if I absolutely had to pick a chain, Texas Roadhouse or outback, they are consistent, steaks are the best you will find in a chain and both have good sides

Went to their Sugarland location last week for dinner. Had the 16 oz prime ribeye with potatoes au gratin and a bottle of wine. Holy smokes it was good. Right up there with my choice, Pappas Steakhouse on Westheimer.
