Krivoman Blind Setup

Another TBHer (Jamey) built a base for my 85 gallon drum. I just placed this setup out about a week ago. I put a new box on the barrel....12 volt motor, The Timer, with a solar panel. The Krivoman is in the back left of the picture, tucked away behind the cedar and oak.

Ok, I have no idea how to turn the pic. My Dad pre-fabbed this base and ladder at his house. We put it together and managed to place the blind on the 5ft high base. I wanted to purchase a metal base. However, my Dad is retired and enjoys tinkering with stuff.. He did an awesome job. We put some carpet down inside the blind. I will probably double it up to keep the noise down. We screwed the blind down on each corner. We have a handrail that attaches to the right side of the doorway for safety. I placed an office chair and my Spyder chair inside. Need to brush it in a little more underneath and on top on the side facing the feeder. I am not going to worry about the back side since it is tucked in a brushy spot.

That's a great set up, good luck. You'll love that blind, best on the market.

You could use some spray foam on the underside of the stand to help reduce any noise from dropped stuff. I've thought about elevating mine like this to get out of eye level of the deer, they sure are a nervous bunch where we hunt.

I really like the newer doors on the stands that are coming out now. Lot better design.

I hunted out of it this past season but it was on the ground. Very quiet. When the windows are closed it is hard to tell if the wind is howling or not. I have really enjoyed hunting out of it. I still enjoy a 16' tripod, but when it is cold it is a great place to escape to.

You just turn it to the right 90*!

I'm going to have one down there this year as well Byron. I think I will try to get mine up higher. Not sure if I'm going to build a metal platform or get some Elevator brackets and go that route.
