    Made some new gravity feeders

So I took advantage of the DFW weather to make two gravity deer feeders. Turned out pretty good, and my little one wanted photos with daddy.

Lookin good! How much feed can you fit in one feeder?

Not sure. They're about 4.8 ft long. Probably hold over 30lbs. Was wanting these for extra feeders that are very low maintenance.

I just hope you didn't get primer on sunshine's couch. :-)

Cool ideal, just found out I may have a new place to hunt next year, one of those would be good to test the waters with a cam up near it.

Definitely. Went to Home Depot, and bought a 10ft section of thin wall 4" PVC, and cut it in half. Two 4" caps, two 4" Y's and two 4" grates. All for under $35.

My two like that will hold 50 pounds of corn.

                      Those will work great.

would work good for testing different types of feed also. one sack per tube, and see what gets eaten the best.

We have been using these for a few years. We even have a few 6" versions. You can fit 50+Lbs in a 6".

I have found that mature Bucks will frequent these when they will never be seen at a traditional feeder not far away.

Once they find them, you will have to fill them every weekend. That's the biggest drawback we have found.

Thanks for the input on the 6" version. I figured I'd do a mix of corn and protein in one to see what they like. They just seem to be a great fit for scouting new areas.

Only drawback I fear is the constant restocking, but that's okay. They give me a few extra options to consider come October.

Anyone else use them? Good and bad reviews?
