I send a lot of stuff through FedEx. Not many problems over the years. I ordered an item last Monday that would ship USPS from the shipper. Free shipping, so I was cool with it.

Item went out Monday the 16, was scanned at the post office Monday 16 out for delivery.... That was the last scan., in Crete, IL. I live in Texas... Item was expected the 19th. Still no item. How hard can it be to keep track of a 5 foot long box????

Who else has problems with USPS?

They have a new system out that started in January. Used to never have any issues and now its weekly and frustrating. Customers contact me and know I did my part getting items out fast viewing tracking info but USPS is making me look bad. I told them whatever changes they made didnt help but made things worse! I still use them due to cost and convenient location.

I use USPS for my business, out of the last three years and quite a few packages, I've probably only had 2, maybe 3 problems. Out of those few problems only once did things not get resolved to my satisfaction. Sucks you have to go through this!

I have in the past month. I ended up calling the last post office that scanned my package and they found it for me and I went directly there to pick it up.

Have not had much luck as of late with USPS, delayed delivery or lost.
One I sent to a TBHr in CS from DFW said that it looked like it was used for a soccer ball.

I wish I knew the secret that a few others seem to know to having no issues with USPS. I haven't shipped or received a package via USPS that arrived on time in many years. There is ZERO point in paying for any type of priority or express shipping because it seems their philosophy is "it'll get there when it gets there". I ordered something that was shipped via USPS this last monday from Austin using 2 day priority. Nope, not here yet and no update on their website.

Ive ordered 2 thing recently 1 item was 5 days late and i have a priority item in the mail right now that has been out for 7 days now

I have a registered item worth $15k that is going out of state...it was due yesterday & the tracking says out for delivery in Houston!!

How's that for bad??

I ordered 2 trail cams from a guy in NH. He sent them USPS. They showed up yesterday as delivered............back to him! Now that's bad!

usps is CRAP, its no wonder that they're going to be shut down soon. Had a member here send me some stuff, he paid for 2 day air, got it in 7 days. This was before all the weather hit, they just lost it in Houston.

Have it happen a lot with USPS when I order online now I pay the extra for ups or fedex if its something I need on time

Hooligan, that's what I did yesterday. Contacted the selling company and told them what's going on and I would like to 2nd day air a new item. They were very helpful. I was expecting to pay full fair for the shipment but they they paid for half the cost of the shipping. UPS this time. Have already had 4 scans. So at least it's going somewhere....

BTW. They would have just sent another one same shipping without hesitation, but I need the item soon. A great company to buy from.

Abetterwaytobuy gets 5* from me. It wasn't their fault USPS is horrible.

I recently ordered something from USPS and paid for the 2nd day priority. I didn't receive my package until 12 days later. They are awful. I called them several times asking for help but they said they can't locate the package and were unable to help. I will never use the USPS again.

I received an Amazon gift card for Xmas and ordered a lot of small items with the free shipping with USPS . Received notification the packages shipped back in Jan about a week after New Years. The last package just came in last week. I had already forgotten about it since it was just some fishing lures coming from California. I will never use them again if I can help it.
