My last buck I had done was simple and cost me $50. Purchased a mount and Canton Trade Days for $150. Took my antlers to local Taxi and he swapped them out for $50 and gave me the antlers that came off of it. I made a lamp from them and sold it for $150. Cost me $50 when it was all said and done. Im cheap!!! Lol... Liked the mount and was the pose/turn I needed.

No way to give an average price.
Price will vary greatly as will Quality.
In 30 years in taxidermy i have never seen any cheap, high quality taxidermy work.

In Austin you can pay as high as you want, we go out to Blanco for our taxidermy work. $550 shoulder mount that we get for $500 because of multiple animals year round and referrels

And I'm not afraid to ask if their is a cash price. Cash is king.
