What to do in Ft. Lauderdale

I am headed to Ft. Lauderdale on Thursday for my brother in laws wedding... Not in the wedding and looking to fill some time with something to do so I don't get put to work if you know what I mean.

I know there are everglades trips, fishing, and so forth...Looking more for actual references for activities, guides, restaurants, experiences, etc... Thanks everyone!
