I stayed home. It's not the ice that bothers me, it the crazies that drive like there isn't any ice... Lol

X2. Most of the wrecks you see are from people driving way too fast in bad conditions....

I took it easy, drove 40 the whole way. 75 south from Plano into downtown dallas is not terribly bad, I did have 4 or 5 idiots zoom past me going at least 60. Witnessed one spin out on a bridge and totaled their rear end on a barrier.

Not feeling this drive home after work, everything that has melted will freeze once traffic dies down during the day.

Called in and talked to my boss early today.

He said they were calling work off.

I told him I'd beat them to it.

As someone said, I don't mind the stuff myself, it's the idiots out there.

It's always the other guy that's the idiot. I am pretty sure there has never been anyone who has ever been that other guy-idiot in the history of mankind.

I drove from Azle to Alliance airport all back roads. All the roads are covered and slick, not ice slick, only dropped in 4X4 going up some steep hills, no problems. Alliance is still getting pretty steady sleet and freezing rain. No rest at the airport!

What are dallas roads like? May have to drive the girlfriend from tyler to dallas here in a couple hours in case her school starts in the morning (which I'm thinking is highly doubtful)
