Oil and air filter shelf life?

My grandma has a big shop that used to be her logging headquarters. She shut down her business in 2000-2001 and this shop has basically became the junk storage. I've gotten to where I see it as a place that I can use to do some welding and what not when I go home and have started cleaning the place out. She's all paranoid that I'm throwing away stuff that has value...most of it is junk. But there is a good amount of tires and there are abunch of oil and air filters that were for most of her Cat equipment. The filters are all over 10 years old, but there's a bunch still in the plastic wrappers or in their original boxes. I guess some are motor or hydraulic oil filters and probably some fuel filters as well. I couldn't tel you. Only thing she has left is a D4 dozer so I know that she can't use a lot of them. I'm just wondering if these would still be any good or if they're junk. Anybody need anything and give me a filter number I'll see what I can dig out . I'll make ya a deal, shop needs new lights

Tires have a shelf life but I'm not aware of filters having one.

Figure if the filters are sealed up and not where they can get dust in them they should be good but that is a WAG.
Not sure I would risk it vs what little cost there is, could turn into an expesive mistake

Some do and some are just in their original box and aren't wrapped. Not sure if they were when new. Some look like they've never been opened.

I figured the tires would, she thinks they're still worth something cause there's prob a set of 4 steer tires that were new just for stock. Still look rand new!

Exactly my point behind most of it but I can also understand not throwing away if still good if we have a use for it.
