Just found my old 1965 Rice Owlet vs Baylor Cubs football program back when the Southwest Conference still had freshman teams. I was surprised to see who wore #75 for Baylor. Since Dr. Deer graduated from Baylor and was from Waco, I assume that is him. Who knew he was an athlete?

Yes, that's him. I was at the BU home opener this year and walked past him. Walked over and introduced myself. Asked him if he attended many Baylor games and he said he played for BU back in the day and attends as many games as he can. I never knew that about him. I thought that was pretty cool.Comment
