    bad weather yotes?

I'm thinking about going coyote hunting Monday evening, I know it's going to be COLD. I guess what I want to know is does weather effect yotes? If so what type?

Cold is good. Animals must eat to generate heat to stay warm. Sleet/snow may even be better. But wind will make it hard. Not saying you can't call them in the wind, but it makes it way harder.

You know what they say, a day without blood is like a day without sunshine!

Can't say about movement, but when it's really cold out, I'm guaranteed to hear them all night long right outside my bedroom window.... well within 100 yards. I'd love to do more about it but they don't break the treeline very often. Need to get a weapon light when the money is there, maybe I'll have a better chance at getting them when calling.

I personally don't have much luck when it's winter precip. They tend to hole up.

But as soon as the weather breaks, especially the 1st cold crisp clear morning I can dang sure call em in

A few years ago in the cold with snow I saw 19 yotes in one day most I have ever seen!

If you can get out after them right as the storm breaks you can have a heck of a time. Also the next morning after a storm rolls through seems to be a good time for me. But like mentioned above if the wind is super high it will kick your butt.

Yotes got to eat. I have shot a few in the rain. A few fox also in the cold rain.

Yes weather affects them. I've had better luck on windy cold days. Good luck hopefully you smoke a few
