Tripod question....

I have a 16 ft from them. Great stand and super easy to move. Ill second the steps on both sides. I cut some $$$ by not getting them and I regret it.

We have one like that thankfully it's a short one, but in the dark trying to remember which foot first is not very fun

If you're looking at price, I really like the Summit tripods that Academy sells. The tops are the same and then you buy the leg kits in either 12' or 16' lengths. The shooting rail doesn't need to be mounted.

...another for South TX tripod. I have their shorty 6' & works great in out scrub.

Love the portability. They don't have a big platform though.

Me, I'll stand on a 2x4 nailed to a tree but since it's for Momma D..... The more she feels safe and comfortable the better. I'm thinking larger platform to stand on getting in and out.
