WASP, tell me about your NV gen1(cost, ect). Are you using an AR, what is your set up?. I would expect you are good out to 70 yards?

It is an ATN Gen 1. I got about 4 years ago. and believe it or not I have it set up on my Win. .243 semi auto. I Wanted to put it on an AR but about the time I wanted to buy Connecticut happened. I paid around $650.0, I'm sure the price has dropped since then. Also Bought NV monocular that I feel is a must have. AT 100 yard I can see the barbed wire on my feeder pen. I shot this hog at 80 yards would not hesitate to shoot if I can see em. On this trip I had several cows in the tree line at 150+. could see them with ease. I'm now thinking of the Day/Night Digital X-Sight from ATN. Waiting for the bugs to be worked out.
