Anybody out there use this product?

Works great when you can disc it in and mix with the soil. Not so good just pouring into the water or placing on top of the soil.

I was reading the application process and after applying to soil you want to cover it up with top soil.

I have heard you disc it in. I believe there is a plant in or around Coleman / ballinger.

I need to look into this further too. Our pond hasn't been the same since 2011. We lost all the fish in 2012. It fills up every spring, but we haven't been getting enough rainfall in other times to maintain it's level. It's a puddle now and less than a foot deep.

I've got one just like it. It holds water quite well, just hasn't been enough rain to add to it.

There is a bentonite mine off Highway 118 between Alpine and Study Butte, back in the Devil's Playground...
I think it is the Cowboy Mining Co. Looks like TSB gets it from out there also - may be sister companies...

We picked 4 tons in our dump trailer a couple years ago from the mine and spread it on our pond. We have not gotten enough rain to fill the pond to find out if it worked or not.

I used it about 15 yrs ago on a small pond on our place that went dry. the pond floor was to gooey to get a tractor on it do drag it around or mix it in so I just walked around manually spreading it. the pond has never gone dry since.
