If you space the t-post to far apart the hogs will push the panels in to get the corn. If you want to shoot some hogs, position the feeder to throw some outside the pen.

I used the 16'x34" panels on my pens and haven't had an issue yet and they are 3 years old. I have cow and hogs on my place. If I remember right I used 8 panels and put the posts 8' apart and overlap the panels about a foot a the post.

Hogs can jump them with no problem. They just don't all know that they can jump. I have seen them jump a barb wire fence like a deer. A long time ago I converted a 2-horse trailer into a hog trailer. Nearly every hog I put in it over about 75lbs would jump up onto the feed area at the front of the trailer. Flat footed and just spring up there. It was every bit of 50" tall.
They would stick their heads out of the front windows. I would get some funny looks in town. Had a smaller one get a head and front shoulder through one of the windows once and decided to put a bar across the middle to stop that.

Way too short IMO for hogs!

          4 foot minimum

I have 34" panels and have had no pigs in and I'll find out about the lower feed pen in about 2 weeks. Also it's a simple fix 1 strand of barbed wire.

Thanks for the info. I want to keep the hogs out. They don't keep the deer completely away but when they come around a lot the deer numbers drop.

May just go with the 50". Would hate to buy the 34's and find out my pigs can jump 35...

Although the 34 with a strand of barbed wire would work too...

If your building a square pen bend the panels in half for the corners...

You can see in this pic where I lowered a section out of the fence to make it easier for the deer to jump in and out of the pen.

34' is all we have ever used. The bigger diameter the better minimum 8 panels....build it round, not square.
