    Conditioning Hogs

    Feeder report past 6 months
    Hogs - Day 1 Night 15
    Deer - Day 27 Night 70
    Varmints - Day 13 Night 51
Since I primarily NV hunt this property I kept feeder spinning at night.
How long before hogs come out under the sun? Purposely not gonna night hunt unless big piggies hits feeder regularly.

To condition them to come in the daytime, I would only feed them in the daytime.

      I don't understand the post,
But our hogs come to the feeders right at dusk,
Ours are hunted hard and very nocturnal.
Have killed a few before the sun comes up, but normally they are already there when you are walking into the area.

Hogs are naturally nocturnal. I was running my feeder during the night to attract them then pounding them with my NV gear.

My goal this year is try and condition them to come out dawn/dusk day. So I am running feeder middle of day. I am just wondering if they will? Can they be conditioned to come out during the day? Only time will tell.

I will hammer them at night if they start tearing up the property.

In the summer months they ain't coming out in the day unless we get a good rain or drop in temp. They are gunna wait till late night when temps are coolest to feed and drink.
