Took My Lacy On A Mock Blood Run

It's hard to find a place in the City to make blood trail for your dog. This morning I drove around looking for a place to place a blood trail for her. I found this large field with brush just north of Hwy 183 in Euless. I placed the trail and went home to pick up my dog Roxy. After a hour or so I took her to the field and showed her where I had started. After that it was all hers to do her job. It didn't take Roxy very long to find the deer foot I had hid for her. I am so proud of my dog Roxy.

That's great, sounds like you have a good blood trailing dog. I saved some deer blood from this season and need to work on getting a good pup.

Thats awesome! Buddy has a lacy and she trailed a pig for us for over a mile last weekend and she has little to no training. Was awesome to see her work it out with just natural ability.

I do the same thing with my lacy. It's a little inconvenient to drive to a place, put down the trail or drag, then go get my dog, then go back, but definitely worth the work! Congrats on your dog showing ya what she can do!

She found a hog that my son shot at night. I'm glad I had a bell on her collar.
