Cruise question

When on a cruise how readily do the ports you stop at accept dollars? I'm just wondering if we would be off taking and exchanging currency?

They will take dollars ever where in the world. Some countries you do better, and it is safer, with their money. If they don't like Americans, or the state department requests. I usually exchange for only what I think I will spend that day.
Do get a money belt if out of the country, pick pockets everywhere.

I would think anywhere you go, any of the people you encounter on any shore excursion would accept dollars. May be different if you go out on your own
