Academy using last years stock?

I was wondering the same thing with a rechargable battery I bought for my feeder. I asked the guy that worked there and he swore that they were not old, but they were sure scratched up. Can't let a rechargeable battery sit on the shelf for a year without charging.

Academy, unlike Walmart, will put stuff back and sell next season...or so I have been told. Walmart just clearances and moves it.
