    Electrician question?

My church has the traditional large roof and the interior lights are setup along five beams thru the church. Lately we will see a flicker or a transfer of lighting, where some seem to burn brighter and then fade to normal brightness. I know we have these large boxes in a back room that look like transformers for these lights. What would cause the flicker and how would you isolate to see if one of the boxes is going bad.
The flickering of lights hits all regular bulbs also, so its like a load issue. But breakers don't trip and we run the lights for about three hours each Sunday ?
    What say the electricians ?

If some of the lights are brighter then they should be and some are dimmer then they should be. This sounds like you are losing an shared neutral. You need to get an electrician

Are they on a dimming system, if so sounds like the dimmer components are going out. If not could be a lose neutral. Either way call a licensed electrician

Could be a multitude of things but loose neutral would be my 1st guess. Has any neighboring properties been added to ya'lls transformer?

It might be on the utility side.

Thanks for the responses. I am calling a licensed electrician for help. But I wanted some possibilities to discuss with our elders. I told that I am qualified to change lightbulbs and that's about it. It is on a dimmer switch, so that's a start. I was wondering if they can just put a meter on each transformer to see if they can help determine if one of them might be going bad. I have found other weird electrical issues in the past. We are on our own transformer and we have like five main breaker boxes for the entire building.

Update for this problem. AEP came out today and found the neutral ground connectors at the transformers and main power feed were corroded. It looks like the problem is solved,
                  Appreciate everyones assistance and input.
