Has anyone used LED flood lights?

I have two, 150 watt halogens, on each end of my back porch. The halogen bulbs are always going out. I don't think these will be quite as bright, but they will hopefully work longer than I'll be in the house.

Facinated with the LED technology, I ordered a 50 watt, plug in to try in my shop. I currently just have cheap, clamp on reflector lights with fluorescent bulbs.

Anybody switched to LEDs for residential lighting?

i have a lighting business in Austin and am pretty familiar, this fixture looks pretty good, 600 lumens on 7w is pretty good, it wont be as bright as the halogens but it will work.
I switched my whole house over to LED, the LED lamps I sell most of is TCP

I have installed these from Home Depot and very satisfied. I wanted the lights on a couple on w switch so removed motion sensor on a couple. Very bright and almost easily compare to the small 50watt halogens I replaced

One thing to start looking for with led is single chip systems...the leds that have a lot of diodes is older technology

I bought some $39.00 solar LED from harbor freight and installed them around the property in centerville. Very happy with them.

Take a look at RAB Lighting. I just installed some 39 watt floods on a customers house and they are very pleased with the output and the quality

I have them around the outside of the house and they light up the night. Lasted 2 years so far. I will be buying more soon.

Yes, we've replaced every flood light in the house with led floods. I have no clue what's up with our wiring but we burn through regular light bulbs within a few months. These are about 6months in so very happy with the outcome.

Just be careful with your choice of bulb if it is on a dimmer. Most photo cells work similar to a dimmer and if the bulb is no rated for a dimmer, it will burn out right away. Most of my house has been switched to LED's and other than the mishaps with dimmers or photo cells I haven;t changed one yet. Some are going on 7 years old.

LED is for sure the future. They also make replacement LED lights for can lights. Only problem is the price. They have gotten less expensive in the last 12 to 18 months and will continue to go down as more suppliers offer them.
One of my son-in-laws in a salesman for a electrical supply company and LED lighting is huge right now. By far the best choice for all kinds of lighting, now the price needs to get in line.....
