Anyone ever stop taking Testosterone Injections?

I have been doing the injections myself for about 2 years. I get blood work done every few months to monitor it and other things. I got my blood work done last month and my T levels are lower now than they have ever been. My level is at 132. I decided I would just stop taking it but I'm about 9 days into skipping my shot and feel horrible. If I stick it out will it get better or will I always feel like crap?

will not get better for a while.

I'm not a dr but i think you need to do something to tell your body to start producing T on its own again. I quit using androgel and it was a couple of months until i felt back to normal.

Try getting a quality PCT. It can help to minimize a blowback of estrogen production and also help your body bump it's natural test production. Your body is so used to having the added extra test that it basically shuts down all natural production and now it needs to get back to it's normal natural production.

This is why I would never start it.

Hope you get to feeling better soon

I quit taking Androgel and Fortesta. Guess what, my sperm count is up and I have plenty of energy. Why, because I started working out again.

Yep...twice. each time test levels were worse than earlier l levels. Technically you need hcg after getting off of it. I am a believer in cycling it. Diagnosed with it in 2006 and have done quiet a bit of research. I don't think long term regular use is going to do a person's body much good. I now go a month on a month off. That may not do much good but at least I am giving my body a break. There is a reason why the class action suits have started to appear regarding test replacement therapy.

I know I should start working out again but it's tough when I don't feel like moving.

Just fyi - if you have been on it a while you most likely are shooting blanks. No more shots = no more blanks one of the perks to long term test use is it serves as a male contraceptive.

Not really worried about that one way or the other. My wife has no plumbing.

Get it fixed and then start a healthy lifestyle with working out and you will feel great

Working out/weights is the safest way and best way to increase T levels

I honestly felt bad for about two weeks after I quit the therapy, but once I begin lifting weights and running I was back on track. 30 minutes a day is all it takes to get that normal feeling back. Make a schedule and stick to it. The best time to work out is when you don't feel like it. Don't let FEAUX tiredness get you

Try taking a natty test booster to help get your body back in the swing of it's own production. Google DAA. Activate extreme is a decent natty booster I have used and was happy with. And like I said earlier see of you can get a script from your dr for a PCT. If not you can try some over the counter stuff. Vital labs has a decent OTC PCT I have heard. That should give you enough energy to get in the gym and start lifting and that will help boost your natural levels too. Make sure your diet is on point as well.
