Haven't bowhunted in a couple of years, need advice on carbon arrows. Have always shot aluminum, think its time to come into the 21st century. I shoot a Matthews Q2 @ 70lbs.

AXIS Full Metal Jacket
Ultra-small diameter and thick-wall carbon core armed in a bone-piercing full metal jacket gives bowhunters heavy big-game stopping power. Axis FMJ provides bowhunters higher levels of penetration and easily pulls from high-density targets
I have been shooting these for the last two years and have had huge success, they thump and withstand the test of time!

Okay, the FMJ's are a great arrow....but for us everyday "whack 'em and stack 'em" guys. We need to save some money! Gold Tip 5575 XT's, they have never failed me on anything I've stuck them in.....

CT Rhinos are heavy like aluminum, but unbreakable in 'normal' useage, always straight unlike aluminum. The 55/80s are stiff for the spine rating, at 70# I'm still a little overspined, with a 31" arrow and 100 grain tip. But they're sure durable for hunting. My hunting arrows weight 500 grains, I used to have a speed bow, and grew-out of that phase.
