Does any one use a remote control to spin some more feed after the critters have eaten what was put out at the normal feed time. I have gotten down and reset the timer and the critters come back but I would rather just push a button. What brand works the best. I have looked at moultrie, WGI and The Remote. The Remote is priced about a hundred bucks while I could get the other brands for 25 to 35 bucks. I only need the signal to to go about 25 yards.

I would go with something similar to this. Much cheaper route and it should work just as good! http://www.amazon.com/Dpower-wireles...ireless+remote

You could easily make this work. We have been using them on our tailgate feeders with a deer feeder battery so that we don't have to hook anything up to our vehicles and they work great. They won't come close to working 100 yards away but I think there is a good chance at 25 yards they will do the job.
