He made it!!

If y'all remember, I posted a couple of pics of a small buck with an arrow protruding from just below his right ear/ back of his right jaw. I figured, as did several others that infection would set in and he'd die. Well, my huntin' partner (Cowdog) got this pick of him on Jan 15, 2015. He had one or two more as well. It's pretty crazy how much will to survive that animals have.

A couple of years ago I hunted axis bucks at Bugscuffle and Brian was telling me that season they had taken something like 18 (give or take) bucks and 11/12 had BHs inside them when they field dressed them. Tough critters...

Amazing their will to survive. If someone had shot me in the neck with a BH, i'd found the nearest shade tree, curled up and waited for the inevitable....
