Does anyone admin Learning Management Systems

Looking to add online training to our education program here at work. Need to be able to create curriculum that integrates multi-media into the curriculum platform. Offer testing modules at the end of each section. Track user progress.

Our intranet system is based on a Drupal platform. Would be preferable for our LMS to be a Drupal module that would bolt on. Would consider non drupal congruent LMS if it just blew me away

I'm not sure it's applicable, but may be available in a modified basis....but I use D2L (Desire 2 Learn) to manage the online classes I teach at a community college. It's got so many curriculum/media/tracking tools that I don't have time to learn them all. But very good system.

They both suck. Record keeping is great but our safety awareness is lower than when we used instructor led interactive trainings

That is the give and take. Sacrifice of quality over increased exposure. I am the director of education for a franchise system, we have 300+ units with an average of 15 employees per unit. Getting in front of 4500 people isn't even feasible. An LMS is my only way to go

We are similar being a fortune 500 company spread out over 18K miles of pipeline.

We utilize train the trainer type instruction on our first aid, driving, and environmental trainings. All others are CBT. Guess it comes down to who puts together your programs

Here's a system that you have to listen to to keep your job, but it's a total piece of crap......

If we had a union, that would be the first item to go.
