Conroe I 45 man with C-4 strapped to himself in car chase

10:12 p.m.

I-45 southbound entrance ramps are closed in the Conroe area because police are in pursuit of a suicidal man who reportedly has C-4 (explosives) strapped to himself.

10:16 p.m.

He is now on SH 75 headed back into Walker County

10:18 p.m.

He is northbound in the southbound lanes of I-45

SH 75 is CLOSED between New Waverly and Park Rd. 40 due to a suicidal subject who lead police in a pursuit with C-4 explosives strapped to himself before crashing into a gate, where he stopped and remained in the vehicle at last report.
