im so thankful

Thank you to your son and everyone that serves this country. I got to live out my dream and serve in the coast guard for 5 years before they retired me but it's one of those jobs you do not for the money but for your country and your fellow man. My heroes have always been and always will be the men and women who serve this great country we live in. Thank you all!

Ironic how this was bumped this morning from months ago. Actually woke up this morning thinking about him when watching the news with the "bird" crashing in Hawaii.

It struck me how many perish or injured in "training!" So tragic some come home from combat and then this...
