I went today and held the beretta a400, sbe 2, super Vinci, A5, and a versamax. I really liked the sbe 2 and A5 so far. I didn't feel like i got down enough on the beretta

I am throwing in the Winchester SX3......
By far the best gun for me, i clean before and after the season.....Start with Doves and shoot 23/4 7/8 & 1 oz then go through the ducks and geese with everyting under the sky....I clean mine on Feb 1....
Looking to add that A5 from browning but it will still be my primary..

If you want a great gun for a little less, I have a Franchi I12. I've had it for over a decade. I've never once had a single issue and I've killed thousands of birds with it.
They're owned and made by Benelli, use the inertia system. Just a sweet shooting machine.
If you're stuck on the bigger names though I'd go
1. SBE 2
2. M2
3. Extrema

Any of the B's will be very reliable guns. Try to use each of the ones you're considering before you buy if you can. At least shoulder them. I went into it wanting the A400 but wound up with the Vinci. Been very pleased with it. Cycles everything. I got the standard Vinci as I have no use for 3.5" shells. I almost got the SBEII but the Vinci felt a little better to me. I couldn't get the a400 to feel right. It's kind of fat or something.
