    Back tension release technique

Looking to get some feedback about my form. I know I mentioned my draw length being too long. I just misspoke, I need to change my peep location, and I could probably go up a 1/2" in DL if I wanted to. I went down a 1/2" recently trying to fire my trigger with back tension.

    Anyways, here's the video:

I don't know much about back tension releases, but it looked pretty good to me

      Alright....

First and let me preface this with these are my opinions not facts, but ive got a lot of time on back tension.

yes your DL appears to be too long, but you also have quite a bit of bend in your bow arm.

flip the Half moon sear over and get rid of that click, you don't need it and it will only serve to cause anticipation of the shot.

me personal I never used the thumb bar I actually took it off, once you learn how to draw it comfortably its all about the tension transfer from your index finger to the rest of your hand. once you have it drawn back id love to see you wrap those other fingers around the release, maybe try just 3 fingers as the pinky can sometimes get in the way due to the angle.

its all about surprise at the release, your already on the right track, just make sure you stay tight in the back and squeeze that right rhomboid down and back.

      just my 2 cents
