How to Euro Mount Thread??????

I have searched but cannot seem to find the post I remember being on here.
It was detailed thread about making your own euro mounts.
If someone can post a link to it I would be most appreciative. I would like to make sure I am not going to mess this buck up.

Main question is how to get the brains out????? I think I borderline boiled to long so I do not want to boil again to get the brains out.

De-greasing and applying the bleaching agent???

I have done a couple in the past and they came out ok and are hanging in the garage. I just want to make sure I get this one done right.

To get the brains out, I've always scrambled them with a coat hanger then used a higher power hose to flush them out.

I give mine to BlueTick and he takes care of all that nasty junk for me. But yea a coat hanger works well

Go to a beauty supply store and get a jug of 40 volume peroxide. Apply it to the cleaned skull with a small brush or cloth, making sure not to get it on the antlers. Let dry, rinse and repeat until the whiteness you want.

That's a good alternate if you just have the antlers, but I can tell the difference in the real ones.

Kid puts them in beetle tank and they et the brains out. If you cooked the brain in it will harden and be hard to get out.

Take it to a car wash if you don't have a power sprayer and put the nozzle to the little hole and blow them out. They will come out whether boiled to long or not.

Have you seen one in person? Friend of mine has a few of these mixed in on a wall with real ones and I can't tell the difference. In fact these look better than a couple real ones he did himself that he did not get all the grease off. Just curious if you have actually seen one done or if you are basing your opinion off the picture on the web page?
