yep a buddy of mine was nice enuff to not move the screen before firing a 7 mag thru it. designed for arrows not bullets propelled by gunpowder!

i shot a .45 thru it and it just left a hole the size of the bullet.

I have wondered about this topic as well. If a tall blade of grass/etc may cause a deflection I would have to believe that mesh would as well. Keep us posted (anyone for that matter) on results. I think at least 3 shots would need to be taken to arrive at an accurate finding.

I shot .223 through some last year and it just left a hole the size of a apple in it. Wouldn't recommend doing it unless you are already planning on replacing the mesh but it wont hurt anything ballistics wise if that is your concern

A buddy was hunting mine and shot his .25-06 through it. Pie plate is about right.

Amazed that anyone would shoot a rifle through the mesh. Just remove it.

Do not do it. Rifle barrel needs to be outside the blind when it is fired. Had an uncle shoot a rifle from his ground blind (enclosed) and it blew the mesh completely off, missed the deer (20 yards), and he couldn't hear anything out of his right ear for 6 months. Not something I want to go through.

Well we showed up at our lease several yrs ago and found bullet holes in our mesh and dead pigs under our feeders.
