    Pet heater pads

Anyone use one for their outdoor pets? We put our dog in the garage on really cold nights with a heater going but by 3 AM she is wanting out so we may as well have left her out to begin with. I have two 75 watt red heat lamps that shine on her bedding but thought a heater pad may be a better option. An experiences with these would be appreciated.

I haven't used a heating pad. But, I have a 100 watt bulb set up in a trough type cover that pat of my well plumbing goes through. This froze several years ago. My outdoor cat will climb on top of it when it gets real cold and stay there even though exposed to the weather, but warm from the lights inside....

I've got 2 dog houses so I've got 2 heating pads. Their prolly 7 years old. They don't get hot, just so so warm, but it makes a difference.

When I had hunting labs that lived outside. I'd have the heat lamps and heating pads going in the kennel houses on freezing nights
