I don't have the turbo but I just got a 2014 carbon spyder with the short ATA and it's blown me away. I got a good enough deal on it I couldn't turn it down and I couldn't be happier with how smooth the bow draws and how easy/accurate it is to shoot.

I have one and love it. Is one of the nicest shooting bows I've shot. Love the ata and draw cycle. Not to mention it's very light.

I like the carbon spyder. However, the backwall on the hoyt line is "mushy" to me. It isn't what I'm use to shooting over the years, so I couldn't get use to it.

          Nice bow though.

I don't have the turbo, but I have the carbon spyder 30, & love it! I had an Element before that, & was super happy with it as well, & a lot of guys love the element over the carbon spyders, but for me, there's no doubt that the Spyder is my favorite. It's certainly all a preference thing, & feels different in the hands of every individual. I'm not, nor have I ever been a speed freak. I hunt heavy, & live by the thought process of having the "toughest" & most "durable" stuff I can get my hands on. I think Mathews makes a much "prettier" bow. I have never owned a Mathews, or any other brand for that fact, but it's not because I am biased or some sort of Hoyt fanboy, but in my personal preference, they usually offer a very rugged & dependable product. The draw cycle is good, Im perfectly fine with the backwall, but once again, to each their own, & it just feels very comfortable in the hand. I haven't noticed any annoying vibration either, & its so light that its mind boggling. This may not be helpful at all, & others may disagree completely, but I always said I wanted a bow I could drop out of the stand from 25' up, or beat up against a pig's head to kill it if need be, & still be comfortable with it getting the job done if I needed to draw it back & sling an arrow 30 seconds later. And I do realize that a lot of that has to do with the sights, rest, etc. that will be on the bow, but I feel like my Carbon Spyder is just that. I am hard on stuff, & don't think too much into how cool a bow looks rather than how versatile & dependable it is, & I couldn't be happier with it bud. To this point, its the best bow I have ever owned, & at 1600.00 a pop, may be the last one I can ever afford lol

Sorry to say it your bow is likely out of tune. My back wall is solid. The turbo is the best bow that's ever fit me. Shoots like a dream

I just recently bought the CST ZT and love it. Solid back wall, fast. So far this would be my favorite bow that I've owned. No complaints.

I shot it, but decided on buying the Nitrum 30 instead. I liked it just fine, but I couldn't see enough advantage to the carbon to spend the extra money. Now if I'd had gotten a really good deal on one, I'd have probably bought it.

New to the TBH, just got introduced to archery last March. Thought I would chime in on this thread. Alot of buddies of mine swear by Mathews. I just couldn't get used to the grip. I shot a friend of mines Hoyt and liked it very much. On Craigslist I found a used carbon element rkt and got it at a nice price and made a friend in east tx. Just tried out the spyder turbo and really enjoyed it. Guess I'll do alot more shooting , before I decide to spend the money on a new bow. Very nice though indeed. From a Hoyt supporter.ps. love my element
