      I'm assuming after you put the 8 carriage bolts in with nuts, you weld the nut to the bolts.

        Easy to make if you have a chop saw and a welder. I sold both when I retired!

              You could also go electronic with code entry so you can track who is in and out and when. Just a thought.

                    Would be easy to make, wish I were near Lubbock. I dont see the point of the U shaped flat bar that the handle is close to. It doesnt appear to slide into the channel as it is locked up in the picture.

                      Isn't that the opposite of what you're supposed to do?

                      I have the drum one figured out but can't figure out the sliding one. Going to keep looking and deciphering..

                        I have built a lot of these for the ranch I used to work for. They are awesome I made one for a place that had a ton of different people and companies in and out all the time it had 27 locks on it.
