Wow! You actually have an endangered species on camera!
What is in the picture is the rare North American wild sporkupine. Know to possess enormous strength, the sporkupine can drag animals up to three times it weight into it's den for consumption. It often is found in the southern reaches of North America, but can be seen sparsely among the more northern states of Utah and Nebraska.
Thought to be extinct, the sporkupine was hunted vigorously for it's fur on the late 1800's, which was rumored to have medicinal purposes due to it's high oil content. It became exceedingly rare in the early 1900s, with only a handful of sightings per year.
The sporkupine is large in stature. Standing roughly 4 foot talk at the shoulder, 6 foot long, and weighing approximately 700 pounds. The sporkupine derives it's name from the ancient Aztec word sporkpinatctltxl, meaning "holy crap that's an ugly animal".
