anyone ever seen a whitetail with fangs?

My grandfathers wife shot an 8 point this year at our lease in corrigan and upon boiling the head. We found that this deer had canines. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen this before. Biologist said only like 1% of deer have this gene and only 2% of hunters will see it in their life time. This is something new for me and I think it makes an awesome euro mount.

I have seen a picture or two before. Very unique trophy for sure.
I think it's a old prehistoric gene that resurfaces from time to time.

I figure this is a species that was bred out of the country, possibly Eastern Europe by sketchy family.....

How cool! The Muntjac is the only deer I knew that had fangs.
