Somebody talking about turkey calls in another thread got my blood all stirred up thinking about turkey hunting.
I normally hunt easterns on public land in MS (mid-March to end of April), but am excited to try to kill some Rios while I'm living here in TX (just moved here in Oct). One of my life goals is to kill all the species, so far, easterns is all I got.
Anywho, I thought I would put some feelers out there for if anyone has some land I could chase some Rio turkeys on come spring time. I'd be willing to lease for a few hundred dollars.
Or, even better (for me), if someone has land with turkeys but you've never turkey hunted and have always wanted to try, I'd be happy to call them up for you. I like just being out there turkey hunting, don't have to necessarily be the trigger man. I can teach you the fine art of seducing thunder chickens.
If anyone can throw an 'ol Mississippi boy a bone this spring I would be forever indebted.
