My stress reliever and why I hunt!

Even in the most stressful times, if I can get out and see these "girls" it makes my day! Got tired of the "computer" screen and went to our development just to relax. 4 Does and 1 Eight point later....then these "turkeys" running across the road....I was ready again!

At least for me, I don't have to harvest to enjoy. Nature is a better cure for what "ail's" me than anything else....

That is pretty cool. Is this near Granbury?

Can I call you when my big well comes in and I'm ready to buy a ranch out that way?

Actually I took this pic just 2 minutes from the Glen Rose Square. There is a 12 point I saw, with my binoculars, in October that would make most drool! Much too far with any camera I own to get a pic, but like you my friend...the memory of seeing him will stay with me forever!

No need to wait until that "well" comes in, pm me and we will hit the "local" bbq place and just watch the critters!

Sometimes, the best way to just relax is free! There is SO much one can do to enjoy if you/me just get out of the house/office and explore.

YOU, me and quarterback need to do it! I'll go ONE step further/farther, Loco would be a GREAT place to meet each other for some of the BEST BBQ in Texas! I always see "threads" seeking GREAT BBQ and at my Old Ripe Age, I've tasted a lot of them. If we have time, for those of you curious about the Navy Seal whose life story/movie is about to be nationally released, Loco is only 10 minutes from where he tragically left us for a better place.

I can't think of a better place for any GS members to get together!

Anyone want to keep this thread going and schedule at time?

Kuma, if the restaurant is anywhere close to Glen Rose I should be coming through that area next Sunday (Jan. 18) on the way home from hunting around 1 pm. It would be an honor to meet you and Whitetailfanatic and enjoy some good bbq. And anyone else that is coming thru the area around that time. What do you think?

My office is at the corner of 67 & 144. How bout anyone who want's to, meet there? It's at the south end of the Exxon travel center, sign "Land Sale" on the front. We can "caravan" from there to the BBQ place as it could be difficult for some to find if not familiar with the area.

I PROMISE NOT TO PITCH ANY LAND, LOL! Looking forward to it and some of the BEST BBQ in Texas!
