    New Truck Pricing

    Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm starting to look into purchasing a new vehicle (Chevy 1500 Silverado)
I'm looking at the LTZ package and 4 wheel drive.

MSRP are between $49k - $51K on the ones ive seen.
What is a realistic out the door price? Including TTL and extended warranty.

Just purchased a new (2014) Dodge 4x4 1500 with most of the bells and whistles, they came off 8k right away.

49K-51K seems a little high for sure...

Try truecar.com. That along with calling a few dealerships and comparing prices.

Got mine in 2014 (GMC) and $8k off MSRP wasn't difficult at all.

Can expect $9-10k off MSRP on every truck!

People act like they got an amazing deal but this is customary. Don't settle for less then $10k off

So, if the MSRP is $50K, then I should be able to drive out the door for $40-42K?
I'm planning on having my financing done ahead of time, so i can just give them a check and sign.

$8-10K off the sticker, plus TTL. If it were a diesel that number would be $10-12K off sticker. It's more about where they value your trade if you have one than the price of the truck.

                    Usually 16% off sticker price.

When I bought my tundra the sticker was 45 and I drove it out for 37. Toyota doesn't come off the sticker as much as ford and chevy does. I would go for 10k off.

Don't let them play the "how much do you want your payments to be" game either. Negotiate the sale price first, then trade-in value if that's what you're doing, then the finance rate/yearly terms (how long your financing, if you are).

I bought a 2014 Silverado 4x4 double cab Texas edition in October

The sticker price was $41,000 and I paid $32,000 before my extended warranty
