Any TBHers do asphalt or concrete, specifically around Magnolia? I had a metal building built about 40 feet behind my driveway/garage and need the driveway extended. Concrete is the first choice, but I want a price on both because cost will play a factor. Interested in a sidewalk as well if I go concrete, and a widening of the existing asphalt driveway if asphalt as well. Full disclosure, I just need a quote at this point to see where the project falls within the project plans for 2015. I hope soon, but that depends on a few factors outside of my control that I won't know for a couple of months. I can email pics and measurements as well if you that saves us both time and can get close on a quote. i won't hold you to the $, but I need to know within $1k or so.

Did concrete for 12 years and tested both for 4. Don't do it any more but I'll tell you right now that asphalt is about 1/3 to 1/2 the price of concrete. Good luck. -

Call your local concrete supplier(Redi mix) . They should point you in the right direction. Asphalt( Hotmix) is cheaper on a large scale, but on a small job like this concrete is the way to go. 3500 PSI concrete. Rebar3/8"-- 18"on center each way.Comment
