How many of you have been weevil bit or scoped ?

Shot a deer with a friends 7 mag one time. The chair in the blind was was too far away from the window ledge that I was resting the stock on which left me sitting at a funny angle.

Squeezed the trigger and and got drilled in the eye brow. Thought I was going to be bleeding everywhere but somehow it didn't break the skin. I saw stars for a few minutes though.

Took a friend and his son dove hunting one time. They brought a pellet gun to pass the time. Somehow the son got scoped from the pellet gun and bled like a stuck hog.

Was duck hunting one morning and quickly shouldered the gun and shot at some passing birds. The butt of the gun slipped off my shoulder and the knuckle on my thumb hit me square in the nose.

I have a couple of rifles with European optics on them, they do not have enough eye relief imo, had to put a muzzle break on a 280 Ackley Imp because of the scope. The scope is a Schmid and Bender, bad arse scope but it will get you if not careful.

I have shot 10's of thousands of rounds out of a wide variety of center-fire rifles, up to a 416 Rem. Have been bumped/grazed a time or two, but nothing that ever drew blood. Have seen a few pretty good ones on other folks though.

Yep...still have a scar from when i was 12 and got split open good because i had always hunted open sights and grabbed my cousins 270 with scope to shoot a hog. There was lots of blood....just not on the hog
