Once when I was a teenager, shooting a friend of my dad's 6mm.

Had gone to get some fire wood and he offered to let me shoot it at a beer can. Got back and dad asked what happened to my nose/eyebrow. Tried to lie and tell him a stick popped up and got me. He wasn't buying it

I shot my buddie's muzzle loader last summer. Didn't have a scope, but it does have a short little stock. I was shooting at a target and gripping the rifle kind of loosly. When I set that **** thing off the big knuckle on my right thumb hit me in that part of my substantial snot locker that separates the two snot barrels. It didn't bleed, but it **** sure made my eyes water!

Never happened to be, but watched a friend get bit by a .50 cal muzzle loader. He was wearing shooting glasses and they left a nice cut across his brow.

Never been cut, but my Encores would ALWAYS pop me in the eyebrow.

50 cal ML got me to! I was hunting in Inez and was determined to get me a nice doe with my new ML. Sure enough 6 of em stepped out and I slid the smoke wagon out the window and sent a slug towards the biggest one. When the smoke cleared I was still seeing stars and had blood running down my face. I exited the blind to head back to camp to check my wounds and one of the rungs on the ladder broke which slung me over the side. I somehow did a matrix move, caught part of the ladder, and somewhat slowed my descend. Paw in law was at camp when I showed up and asked me who whooped my arse. LOL That was a bad morning!

I have a perfect "x" scar between my eyes from a 6 3/4 lb 7STW. It should just be a half moon scar, but I didn't learn the first time

Couple years ago was shooting tannerite with my 270 using a cooler as my rest as I sat with my butt on the ground. The cooler sat too high for me to keep the butt of the rifle where it needed to be so I thought it would be fine to rest the stock on top of my shoulder.... I was wrong

Of all the guns I own and have shot my whole life, the only time I've ever done it (knock on wood) was with a .22 mag... I was about 15 and had some crows in a big oak behind me. I decided to ruin their acorn party. When I got hooked up at that angle, the only way I could make the cross hairs land on the crow I wanted, it left the scope barely on my brow. I thought, "it's just a .22mag there's no recoil" and I touched it off. LORD JESUS WHAT A MISTAKE!!! That hurt like hell and I thought I might just bleed to death!
