Dieselman, text sent. I am on the list for a set of injectors from a Diesel pump and injector service, getting the Bosch reman's for almost half of what the diesel shops wanted locally. A buddy owns a transmission / mechanic shop and he said his engine guy could put them in for actual labor time and not book time, but if it takes longer it wouldnt go over book cost.

      Easy job.

I'm sure some guy has a video on you tube showing how to do it.

Not very hard at all. There are videos online showing every step and I found all the tourqe values online also. You can rent a tourqe wrench from the parts store.

Do Not Wait I waited to long and a bad injector turned into a rebuilt engine.

I smelled the diesel leaking yesterday before leaving for work but figured it was leaking from the fuel canister o-ring as it has once before. Changed the fuel filter and o-ring and stopped that one. I got to work and crawled under it after the sun came up and found the diesel leaking from the vent tube on the top of the valve cover, checked oil and found it was higher than should be. Its been parked since then and being trailered to a shop tonight. Cant take the risk of locking up motor.
