Prayers sent.
Doctors call hand injuries "no-man's land" since the hand is so complex. I used to sell lab equipment to hospitals used to isolate and identify bacteria in patient's infections.
Do yourself and family right and find a doctor who's an infectious disease specialist. There are bacterial infections that can resist antibiotics and be life threatening if they enter the blood stream (called sepsis) and spread elsewhere (I'm not trying to scare you).
If you're near a university hospital with a medical school, call and ask for the infectious disease department and make an appointment asap. I don't want to scare you, but this is serious based on your description of the pain and swelling.
Again, may God bless and look over you. Send a PM is there's anything I can do in helping you find a specialist, I'm a wizard finding info and people on the internet. Here's some local ID physicians I found in Beaumont.

Let us know how things progress, we're pulling for you. I put a deep gash in the bottom of my foot on coral once in Key West and did the same thing you did, just washed it out real good with peroxide. When I got home the Dr. read me the riot act on how stupid I was. I got lucky, and so will you.
