I'm sure as long as you shoot an 80lb bow at 360fps you should have nothing to worry about.

That's funny right there because I've thought about this design in my little head several times. Surely that shaft will have a weak spot where the mech blades are. If you could push that thing through one you'd have a heck of a hole in em. LOL

Looks like a metal "foot" on the arrow that houses the blade mechanism. Probably takes a stiff arrow to get them to fly right

Think I will stick with my fixed blades for now

I think it's kind of like fishing lures ... designed to catch the fisherman more than to catch fish. I've shot Muzzie 3 blade fixed blades for years (the cheap ones, 6 for around 30 bucks) and never had a problem when I did my part.
