I was in your shoes several years ago and to this day I pray for two of my brothers that prayed for me and help me back. God IS Great....

I too had to put God back into my life and I have been blessed every since.

I totally understand where you're coming from and don't necessarily blame you. Hopefully, you at least have some like minded friends that you can worship and study with. That can go along way in strength and encouragement. Keep an open dialog with the Lord about that and let him lead you to where he wants you. You may already be there for the time being.

I don't feel as I need to give anything to anyone. I WANT to give what God has blessed me with to help spread the gospel. Is that not what we are trying to accomplish as Christians, as well as growing stronger in faith with God.

I try not to fall into thread Hi-jackings but I feel I must say something here.

If you do not like your Preacher, your Church, or your kid's Sunday School Teacher...... Please I beg you go find another one. I promise you not every church constantly asks for money and not all Preachers are Hell Fire and Brimstone. There is a Church out there for you.

In fact, while I am sure there must be some, I have never been to a church that constantly asked for money. My church does not even "Pass the Plate" anymore we have a box in the lobby to drop your tithes and offerings in. The Pastor rarely even mentions the drop box and I have never known of him to preach about tithes.

There are also lots of Preachers out there that all they ever Preach is the feel good type sermons and never mention that there is a Devil and a place called Hell. The TV and local radio is full of them.

I say this not offend anyone but to simply point out that if you are not being Spiritualy fed at church X please do not forgo church altogether. Please I urge you to find a church that can and will feed your soul. They can be found if you want to find one.
