    questions about pecans

got a gallon size ziplock full of shelled pecans for Christmas. need some good, HEALTHY ideas for these pecans. I love pecan pie, pralines, sticky buns, but as I said, I need HEALTHY ideas. How do I season pecans (or any kind of nut)? I wouldn't think just shaken some Ragin Blaze and Ranch dressing would stick or be evenly dispersed. Also, how should I store em after they are seasoned? i got a food saver vacuum packer. I got em in the freezer now. how long should they last?

    lets hear whatcha got!

Maybe some olive oil before the spices, like you do the crackers?

I know there are some pecan crusted meat recipes out there.

I just eat them plain. About 19 halves equal a serving.

Freezing preserves the nuts. Excellent in a spinach salad with strawberries. Or spinachewithred onions and cheese.
