    Bison Experts Needed

This animal is in a covered pen a few miles north of Robert Lee on Hwy 208. I stopped today and took a couple of cell phone pictures. I would think this is a cross with maybe Charolais cattle, but can't tell for sure--maybe full buffalo? Beautiful color. Anyone have any ideas?

Probably just a white buffalo. Doesn't look to be crossed with anything.

I killed a free range a number of years ago and sure looks pure to my limited trained eye. Surprised that someone from one of the Indian Nations hasn't purchased him. Beautiful either way.

Very cool. Spirit buffalo (to the Indians). Go to downtown Snyder and read the monument there about the white buff that was killed back in the 1800s by a buffalo hunter.

There was a white one born around Greenville a year or 2 ago. Think somebody killed it IIRC

Looks like a full blood bison.

Take that pic down before some tree hugging smart car driver files a lawsuit to make you turn that sacred beast over to the natives

Looks like a regular ole white buffalo, to me.
