Settled in the stand about 150 yards away from my wife waiting on daylight, almost here. She's got her trusty old 22-250 and I got my 25-06, I know I'm cheating, but last day of regular season and I'm wanting another sausage buck. Outside Columbus about 5 miles. I've seen a few does, small 6 and 8 and a wide 8 that I've been seeing all year just no tine length. Just not what I'm looking for. Waiting on a big 8 I've seen a bunch. Hope we get a shot at him.

Yea she likes it.She likes it a lot when she can shoot it. She's not seeing much in the back where she's at. Maybe it will happen, full moon not helping me. May sit longer till midday.

I just called it quits. Wind and full moon is killing me. Not the way I wanted the last day to go but so be it. My whole season has been like that. Lol
At least I got to spend another season in the woods.

Well,we finished up.Wind picked up and deer movement stopped all together.Trying again next week with the old smokepole.Did see some small spikes,may have to take one next week.
